Born in Barbados, Falernum is a traditional preparation used to craft legendary drinks such as punch, Mai Tai, and tiki cocktails. Sambavanilla reinvents this heritage with artisanal expertise and premium natural ingredients, carefully selected for their purity and freshness.
Rich and Balanced Composition
Each sachet includes a precise mix of spices and dried fruits, ready to be infused with your favorite amber rum. To achieve the perfect balance of warmth, freshness, and exotic depth, we recommend adding 100 g of roasted almonds.

- Cinnamon leaves

- Madagascar vanilla pods
- Lime zest

Easy to Prepare, Irresistible to Taste
Creating your homemade Falernum spiced rum is simple:
Prepare a syrup using 150 g of cane sugar and 250 ml of water.
Add the contents of the sachet and simmer gently for 20 minutes.
Once cooled, pour into a glass jar and add roasted almonds.
Fill the jar with amber rum, seal tightly, and store in a cool, dark place.
After 7–10 days, remove the solid ingredients, keeping only the vanilla pods.
Let it mature for 2 to 3 months, stirring occasionally to develop deep, layered flavors.
Strain and bottle your Falernum — a handcrafted Caribbean delight.
Recommended maturation:
2 to 3 months.
