This preparation is suitable for 1 liter of rum.
Arrange the preparation ingredients in a jar, complete with rum and cane sugar according to your taste (5 tablespoons minimum).
Then you just need a little patience while all the ingredients release their aromas.
Allow at least a maceration time of 3 months, monitoring the progress of the preparation.
If you find that the combava becomes too powerful then you will have to remove the zest before the end of maceration.
Once the maceration is complete, filter the preparation and bottle.
