Traditional island blend for arranged rum
The preparation bag is suitable for 1 bottle of white rum at 50° of 75 cl to 1 l.
Composition:
- Dried banana
- Tonka beans
- Roasted cocoa beans.
- Lemongrass.
Preparation:
Prepare a syrup with 180 grams of cane sugar and 300 ml of water into which you add the Tonka beans cut into thin strips.
When the syrup is boiling, let it cool down.
Coarsely crush the cocoa beans and place in a jar.
Put the rest of the ingredients in the jar.
Add the syrup with Tonka.
Top up to the top of the jar with 50° white rum.
You will then just need to be patient while all the ingredients release their aromas.
At the end of the maceration, filter the preparation.
Recommended maceration time:
3 months.
Caution:
Taste the preparation regularly to see how it develops.
If after 2 months the taste becomes too strong, remove the Tonka beans.
