Mirabelles plums arranged rum
Enjoy the Mirabelles plums!!
It's the height of the plum season and we can't resist offering you two magnificent rum recipes arranged to accompany this wonderful fruit.
Of course, the marriage with vanilla remains essential, but in addition, we have chosen a combination with cinnamon and cocoa beans.
Rum Arranged Mirabelles Cinnamon.
Ingredients for 1 l of rum:
• 1 liter of white rum
• 100 Mirabelles plums from Lorraine
• 10 cl of sugar syrup
• 2 sticks of Sambavanilla cinnamon
• 2 Gourmet Black vanilla pods
Split the vanilla pods lengthwise and place in a jar.
Cut the mirabelle plums and place them in the jar, leaving the pit.
Add the 2 cinnamon sticks.
Pour in the rum and sugar syrup, making sure to leave a minimum of empty space in the jar.
Mix the preparation and close the jar tightly.
Wait at least 3 months then filter and place in a bottle with the vanilla pods visible.
Rum Arranged Mirabelles Chocolate.
Ingredients for 1 l of rum:
• 1 liter of white rum.
• 100 plums from Lorraine.
• 50 gr of Muscovado cane sugar.
• 75 gr of roasted Sambavanilla cocoa beans.
• 2 vanilla pods from Papua XL.
Split the Papua New Guinea vanilla pods lengthwise and place in a jar.
Cut the mirabelle plums and place them in the jar, leaving the pit.
Crush the cocoa beans and add to the jar then add the powdered sugar.
Pour the rum until the jar is completely filled.
Mix the preparation and close the jar tightly.
Wait at least 3 months then filter and place in a bottle with the visible vanilla pods and a few cocoa beans that have remained whole.
