Pepper is a spice that has been used since 3000 BC.

Pepper is the fruit of plants in the Piperaceaes family.

Did you know that the colour of pepper depends on its degree of ripeness?

While green pepper is obtained from immature berries picked 6 months after flowering, black pepper comes from berries picked at the beginning of ripening and if the berries are further ripened, the pepper will gradually take on a reddish-brown colour.

There are also false peppers, such as pink berries, which come from shrubs in the Schinus family.

Whether they come from Madagascar or elsewhere, our peppers are of exceptional quality.

We select our producers according to very strict criteria, and are committed to working with artisan producers who respect nature and the products they grow.
