West Indies Curry powder mix

Our West Indies Curry Powder is a treasure trove of spices that evokes the enchanting flavours of the Caribbean islands. This unique blend combines vibrant turmeric, fragrant coriander, earthy fenugreek and other carefully selected spices to give you an unrivalled culinary experience.

Use this powder to concoct a delicious pork stew with exotic accents, or to season root vegetables before roasting them in the oven, releasing a symphony of tastes and colours.

Explore the possibilities with a delicious chicken curry, where our Colombo powder fuses with coconut to create a marriage of heavenly flavours.

Even vegetarian dishes will benefit from its charm, like a pan-fried spicy chickpea that will awaken your taste buds to new horizons.

With our West Indies Curry powder, every dish becomes a culinary voyage to the Caribbean, filled with authentic spices and memories of traditional cuisine.

The dosage of colombo powder will depend on your personal preference in terms of flavour and intensity. For light dishes, start with 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of colombo powder per serving. This works well in soups, stir-fried vegetables or fish dishes.

For moderately spicy dishes, use around 1 to 2 teaspoons per portion. This works well for meat or poultry dishes, as well as milder curries.

If you prefer a very fragrant and spicy dish, you can go up to 1 to 2 tablespoons per serving. This is ideal for stews, curries and other hearty dishes.

Don't forget that West Indies Curry powder has an intense flavour, so it's better to add it gradually than to add too much from the start. You can always add more if you need to, but it's difficult to reduce the intensity if you add too much at the start.
