Mexican Chili Powder mix
Mexican chili powder is a blend of spices traditionally used in Mexican cuisine to add flavour and heat to dishes. The blend can vary depending on the region and personal preference, but is usually made up of chili powder (ancho, guajillo, arbol or other varieties), cumin, garlic powder, paprika and other spices such as oregano and coriander powder.
Mexican chili powder is often used to season meat dishes, rice dishes, beans, soups and sauces, as well as to prepare marinades and barbecue rubs.
It can also be sprinkled on fresh fruit such as mangoes or pineapples for a spicy-sweet contrast.
The flavour and spiciness level of Sambavanilla's Mexican chilli powder is kept moderate to best appreciate the Tex Mex flavours.
Cumin, paprika, salt, red peppers, garlic, oregano, cayenne pepper, cloves.
Instructions for use:
Add 2 to 3 teaspoons of spices to your mixture.
