Madagascan nutmeg.

Sambavanilla nutmeg comes mainly from the area of Nosy Be in the northwest of Madagascar.

We harvest at year end from October to December.

After harvest, the nuts are dried and then sorted according to size.

In the kitchen nutmeg is well known for its use in the preparation of the béchamel sauce.

It falls perfectly potato dishes, but also pasta casseroles, gratins zucchini, pumpkin gratin, veal stew, carrot cake, pumpkin soup ...

It is also used in the preparation of rums, but also in some desserts like cake or spice cake with nutmeg and the famous aphrodisiac chocolate cake nutmeg.
